Every videographer or photographer will at one time or another find themselves setting their camera bag down for a few minutes to run off and get a quick shot. Those few moments when you are away opens one up to theft or loss of equipment. I knew that I didn’t want to put my equipment in danger with my next camera bag purchase. I needed something that was brightly colored so that it stood out and was fashion forward. After much hunting I stumbled upon the Vanguard Reno 18OR shoulder bag and I have to admit I’m rather impressed.
- Small bag: I got this bag initially to store my Panasonic GH4 and a few lenses for quick shoots. I’m always surprised by how much this bag will carry. I also love that it’s small enough to roll up and store in other bags.
- Rain cover and extra pockets are great for a shoulder sack: This bag comes with a built in rain cover, a small pocket in the front to hold a lens cap and two pockets on the sides for water bottles. These little touches really makes this bag stand out.
- Bag can be too small for some cameras: Like I said this go great with my Panasonic GH4, but with some lenses it’s a pretty tight fit for this camera bag.
Why I recommend
Perfect for someone looking for a bag to throw a few choice items in for a quick shoot. I normally use this bag when I’m going out with friends and I want to bring my camera I tote. I really love that it rolls up easily and can be stored in a larger bag. Also, the price isn’t bad for an 18” camera bag. The Vanguard Reno 18OR shoulder bag is definitely worth checking out.
